The Daily 15 Challenge. Sort your photos in 15 seconds

15 seconds. How much can you sort? The Daily 15 Challenge is a timed swipe round in LuminaClean’s Clean tab: swipe left to mark a photo for deletion, right to keep it, and a huge counter climbs with every swipe. Play once a day to keep your streak.

Nothing is deleted during the round. Marked photos wait on the normal review screen, where you confirm before anything goes.

How a round works

  1. Open LuminaClean, go to the Clean tab and tap GO on the Daily 15 Challenge card.
  2. A 3-2-1 countdown, then the clock starts: 15 seconds.
  3. Swipe left to mark a photo for deletion, right to keep it. Every swipe makes the counter jump, with a whoosh and a tap of haptics.
  4. Time’s up: you see how many you sorted, your personal best and Lumina’s reaction.
  5. Tap REVIEW & DELETE to check what you marked, play AGAIN, or SHARE your score.
A real round, filmed on iPhone

The pile is made of photos the scan already flagged as likely clutter: screenshots first, then the extra copies from duplicate and similar groups (never the best shot of a group), then blurry photos. Favourites never show up. A round needs at least 20 of these; with fewer, Lumina tells you there isn’t enough clutter to play.

Your streak and your best

Playing counts. Finish any round on a given day and that day joins your streak. You don’t have to delete anything to keep it going. The streak only breaks when you miss a whole day.

Personal best. Your highest score stays on your iPhone. Beat it and the end screen shows NEW BEST. Play as many rounds a day as you like; AGAIN deals photos you haven’t swiped since you opened the app.

Lumina reacts. Under 10 sorted, she asks if that was the warm-up. Past 55, she blinked and they were gone.

Nothing is deleted until you review

A left swipe only marks a photo. When the round ends, REVIEW & DELETE opens the same double-check screen as every other swipe session, so you see each marked photo and confirm before anything is deleted. Deleted photos then go to Recently Deleted for 30 days. If you kept everything, the end screen says so and nothing changes.

Share your score, not your photos

SHARE makes a 9:16 card for Stories: your number, SORTED IN 15 SECONDS, your best, Lumina and a “Your turn.” line. The card shows numbers only. None of your photos are on it.

Daily 15 is free to play.

Rounds, streaks, your best and the share card are free for everyone. Deleting what you marked uses your free deletes: 65 photos or 1 GB to start, then 30 free deletes every day. Pro makes deleting unlimited.

Your photos are analyzed on your iPhone and never uploaded. We only collect anonymous usage stats.

Swipe sounds and stronger haptics

A whoosh for every photo you sort (quiet when your phone is on silent), and haptics that feel different for keep and delete. Each has its own switch in Settings, under Sound & Haptics.

Made for you

After a trip or a busy day, Lumina picks the standout photos and offers a ready-made reel on the Memories tab. You can hide it or turn it off in Settings.

Questions

What is the Daily 15 Challenge?

A 15-second round in LuminaClean’s Clean tab, new in version 3.6. You sort as many photos as you can: swipe left to mark for deletion, right to keep. A big counter shows your score, and playing once a day builds a streak.

Does the Daily 15 Challenge delete my photos?

Not during the round. A left swipe only marks a photo. After the round, the normal review screen shows everything you marked and you confirm before anything is deleted. Deleted photos go to Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Do I have to delete photos to keep my streak?

No. Finishing a round counts for the day, whatever you marked. You can keep every photo and still keep the streak.

Is the Daily 15 Challenge free?

Yes, playing is free for everyone. Deleting the photos you marked uses the free allowance (65 photos or 1 GB to start, then 30 free deletes every day); Pro makes deleting unlimited.

Which photos show up in a round?

Photos the on-device scan already flagged: screenshots, extra copies from duplicate and similar groups (never the best one) and blurry shots. Favourites are left out. A round needs at least 20 of them.

What’s on the share card?

Your score, your best, Lumina and a “Your turn.” line, sized 9:16 for Stories. No photos from your library.
