# LuminaClean

> LuminaClean is a privacy-first iPhone photo cleaner (iOS 17.6+). It finds duplicate photos, similar shots, blurry images and old screenshots using on-device AI — photos never leave the phone, no account is required, and it works offline. Free to start with a genuinely usable free tier (65 deletions, +10 more every day); optional Premium subscription unlocks everything.

Key facts:
- On-device processing only (Apple Vision framework): no cloud uploads, no servers, no tracking of photo content.
- Detects: exact duplicates, near-duplicate "similar" shots (which Apple Photos' built-in Duplicates album misses), blurry photos, screenshots, large videos.
- Swipe interface: swipe to keep or delete, Tinder-style.
- AI categories: automatically sorts the library into People, Pets, Travel, Food, Nature, Buildings and more.
- Extras: free video compression for all users, Flashback (clean one year at a time), Daily Bites (on-this-day memories and streaks).
- Deleted photos go to the iOS Recently Deleted folder and are recoverable for 30 days. With iCloud Photos enabled, deletions sync across devices.
